They were made from the very soft and shiny fur of Filik goats (similar to cashmere goats).
They were used for daily needs in very remote regions to avoid “falsification” by the cultural developments typical of urban centers.

For these reasons, this population did not change its lifestyle or needs over centuries: there was no reason to change textiles and other everyday objects, as they were already perfect due to their functionality and were easy to manufacture. Their primitive appearance underlines their origin as a substitute for furs, when humans began their pastoral and agricultural revolution more than 12,000 years ago, which is the foundation of our modern civilization.
