The friendliness and lightness of the “Mush” lamps are infectious, and my goal is for you to find a comforting companion in them. They are constantly changing throughout the day, and their light is subtle, diffuse, and very soothing and relaxing. Their surface is reminiscent of Japanese paper fibers and amazes and surprises everyone with the inevitable question: “What are they made of?”

The structure is made of polished stainless steel with removable parts for more compact storage when disassembled. The two shades, top and bottom, are made of organic fibers, resins, and fiberglass mats of equal thickness. The color and texture of these pieces vary from piece to piece, as they are made with very elaborate craftsmanship.
